Trump Vacation Twice As Long As Obama’s in 2009

According to The Washington Post, Donald Trump’s current 17-day vacation is twice as long as the one former US President Barack Obama took to Martha’s Vineyard in his first year in office. The 17-day vacation will also mean Trump has spent at least 53 “leisure” days through August 2017 as compared to 15 for Obama back in August 2009. Over the past few years, Trump was relentless not only in his attacks on Obama’s vacation habits but also claiming he wouldn’t take any vacation days if elected president. During a rally in August 2016, Trump told a crowd, “I’m going to be working for you. I’m not going to have time to go play golf.”
